I was the wife of the Senior Pastor. He became ill with H1N1 while on our vacation and was admitted to a hospital down in Naples, FL. He was put on a ventilator for 44 days and ultimately passed away. During that time away from home, Corrie, our Music Pastor's wife, made four trips from Michigan to Florida to be with me. She is a critical care nurse and helped me to understand what my husband was going through medically. She also was my constant support, prayer partner, and rock. I couldn't have made it through such a difficult time without her and her ministry to me. God saw fit to take my husband of 24 years home, but He blessed me with a strong friend in Corrie.
