After growing up in the church, I believed that pastors’ wives were all soft-spoken, passive and faultless. When I met Tanya Hardaway, I was shocked to realize she was none of those things. She is passionate, assertive and real. She sets an amazing example in her marriage and as a parent but still makes mistakes. I see Jesus amplified in every area of her life. I never would have believed I’d be friends with a pastor’s wife, but over the past three years, Tanya has become one of my best friends and I thank God for that.
