ReplyDeleteJune is one of the best women I have ever met and a wonderful pastor's wife. She deserves this prize for all the hard work she does for us, for the Lord, and for her family as well as just for being the wonderful woman that she is.
June takes the time to know and care about everyone in our small-town congregation from the most senior saint down to the littlest baby in the nursery. "Miss June", as she is lovingly known by all the children of the church, is the leader for the Dockside Kids Minitries Team at the church which meets on Sundays and Wednesdays. She also organizes the nursery, the Women's Ministries, and teaches Bible Studies during the week. She takes care of welcoming visitors and making those who have always been there both feel loved and welcomed each Sunday. She is always willing to give a hug, a prayer, or a helping hand.
She is lovingly supportive to her husband, Pastor Jim, who is our Senior Pastor and also the NE Section Presbyter. She is a mom to 4 kids from 5 y/o to 20 y/o and homeschools her children. She's an amazing organizer and cook and is willing to share her wisdom and knowlege with others.
She is an amazing example to me and I pray I can learn a little from her each day. Thanks June, for everything you do!
